Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been creating a buzz among fans ever since it was announced, and they are just nine days away from getting their hands on the long-anticipated sequel.

Storage Required for Different Consoles to Play the Game

The game will be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and Xbox Series X users may need up to 140GB of storage to play the game. Xbox Series S owners, on the other hand, will only require 44GB of storage as the console does not require high-resolution textures.

According to the story by Tech4gamers, this is because the Xbox Series S usually runs at 1080p resolution, while the Xbox Series X runs at 4K and hence uses more storage space.

Prepare to Explore a New Galaxy: Preloading Option Now Available for Xbox Owners

Other platforms, such as the PC, will require 150GB, and the PS5 storage size requirement is yet to be revealed. Before release, the preloading option is now available for some Xbox owners to prepare their system storage.

The long-awaited sequel to the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, is just nine days from its release. As Sony and Microsoft loyalists prepare to explore a new galaxy, the game brings many surprises to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners.

A Comparison of Xbox Series X and S: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Storage Requirements

As also reported by What If Gaming, Xbox Series X gamers must make a lot of space in their console, as the game will take a massive 140GB of storage space.

On the contrary, the Xbox Series S users have to worry a little less, given that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will only take up 44GB on the smaller console. Fans can check out the game on Steam.

Enhanced Graphical Capabilities of Xbox Series X and S Compared to the Playstation 5

The difference in size is due to the graphical capabilities offered by the two consoles. While the Xbox Series S users are limited to 1080P resolution, Xbox Series X players can enjoy a 4K gaming experience, provided their console has the storage space needed.

Moreover, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the PC platform requires an even higher storage limit of 150GB for a smooth experience. However, the storage quandary for the PS5 gamers remains unsolved as Sony has not revealed the size of the game yet.

Pre-Load The Game Before the Official Release to Prepare for Galactic Adventure

But with the game allowing 4K resolution, PS5 users can estimate it to be similar to the Xbox Series X and the PC versions. The good news is that Xbox users can now pre-load the game before the official release, scheduled on April 28th.

This gives players time to clean out the sloppiest part of their Xbox Series X|S consoles in time to get a head start on their galactic adventure. Hopefully, with the right storage and speed, gamers can enjoy every bit of their journey through the galaxy.
