It's been a tense four years for Blizzard Entertainment, but the wait is almost over as the company prepares to host BlizzCon again. The long-running fan-focused convention will return to the Anaheim Convention Center on November 3rd and 4th of this year, marking the first time since 2019 that BlizzCon will be available in full form. 

Blizzard's Plans for BlizzCon Uncertain, But Hotel Blocks Already Open 

According to the story by Engadget, much has changed since then, and Blizzard has a few announcements to make. The studio hasn't released information on the specifics of its safety policies, but those should come next month. 

Reports suggest Blizzard is also putting together panels and presentations for all their major franchises, including Warcraft, Overwatch, and Diablo. The studio will no doubt stir up excitement for these upcoming titles with BlizzCon's live streaming of the event. 

Blizzard has been accused of fostering a toxic work culture, and the publisher has yet to comment on how they will ensure safety and security at BlizzCon this year. However, fans of the company will be happy to know that hotel blocks are already open for the event. 

Though BlizzCon still faces some uncertainty, it will be a welcomed event for fans and Blizzard after a tumultuous four years. It can only be assumed that Blizzard will have plenty of surprises planned out for their long-awaited convention.

Precautions for in-Person BlizzCon: Safety Policies and Ticket Information 

With BlizzCon officially set to return for its yearly festivities in the world-renowned Anaheim Convention Center on November 3rd and 4th this year, Blizzard fans are easily in for a treat. 

Since the last in-person edition of the fan convention in 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic has surely taken its toll on communal events, and BlizzCon isn't the only one affected. But with dedicated curation and only the highest levels of safety taken into account, BlizzCon will surely be an extra special experience for those attending. 

Already hotel blocks for the convention are open, and more details will be revealed in the upcoming month for ticket information. It's no secret, however, that BlizzCon comes with its own baggage in recent years.
