As noted on the report, the next game could be "Midnight Ghost Hunt," which is a ghost-hunting game that remains in early access. The title has reportedly been in early access for more than a year and does come with some limitations.
One major limitation is that the game is only available for the PC, and no other consoles would allow players to try it out. The confirmation on the potential new title given away for free would happen at around 8 AM PT.

Epic Games Store themselves shared the teaser on their socials. One notable post from Twitter shows a quick video of multiple icons.
To decipher the next title, fans paused the video and looked closely at the several displayed icons. Some of these icons reportedly point toward "Midnight Ghost Hunt."
Although just a few seconds long, the trailer also holds the date 01.06.2023, which signals when the next free game will be revealed. Fans could see an icon like the spectrophone, which ghost hunters use to track down ghosts in "Midnight Ghost Hunt."

A certain Reddit user compiled an image showing every icon on the teaser, making it easier to decipher. The shared image shows ten different icons fans can use to deduct which title comes next for free.
The report notes that despite not being "Midnight Ghost Hunt," the upcoming Epic Games Sale could be a good chance for gamers to get their hands on premium games for free. Although they might not be everyone's first option, the free games provide a variety of other titles that players might be used to.
