Whoopi Goldberg, a well-known actress and television personality, publicly voiced her displeasure with video game publisher Blizzard Entertainment about the lack of availability of their most recent game, Diablo IV, on Mac operating systems.

Goldberg went to Instagram to express her dissatisfaction and request a refund from Blizzard.

In a video posted on Friday, the co-host of 'The View' voiced her annoyance at needing to hear from Blizzard about the game's incompatibility with her Mac machine. According to the Evening Standard, she stressed her wish for a refund if the game could not be played on her chosen platform.

Whoopi Goldberg stated that the corporation had not responded when she first brought up the issue earlier this month.

Although Diablo IV has received much attention as a highly anticipated action role-playing game, with sales exceeding $666 million globally in only five days of its debut on June 6, the veteran comedienne's dissatisfaction draws attention to the lack of Mac compatibility.

Diablo IV is currently available on Windows PCs, PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, Xbox Series X/S, and One. However, the most recent game in the Diablo series is unavailable to Mac users, per The National. There still needs to be an explanation for why Goldberg thought the game would ultimately be published on Mac.

In addition, Goldberg lamented the lack of information about Microsoft's purchase of Blizzard, saying she needed to be taught about the change and its possible effects on game compatibility.

The Gaming World is Watching

Fans and players eagerly monitor Blizzard Entertainment's reaction to Goldberg's request for a refund and the company's dedication to resolving issues regarding Diablo IV's absence from the Mac platform as her complaint gets momentum on social media, per AFK Gaming.

Given Goldberg's powerful voice and widespread popularity, it is still being determined how Blizzard will manage the matter and work to retain a good connection with their devoted fan base.

Although Blizzard has not yet officially responded to Whoopi Goldberg's videos, a comment from Morgan Brown, a senior designer on Diablo IV, expressed apologies and admiration for the actress. He told Goldberg that he was "so sorry" for the matter, adding, "I love you. Sincerely, a Diablo quest designer."
