Elon Musk is not the only famous person in his family, as his mom, Maye Musk, is a model. The Tesla CEO's 75-year-old mother has reportedly signed a deal with Chinese electronics giant Oppo to become the global ambassador of its Find X6 Pro.

One of Maye Musk's outstanding achievements as a model was appearing on a swimsuit edition cover of Sports Illustrated at 74, making her the oldest cover model in the magazine's swimsuit history. She was also recently spotted attending the New York Fashion Week.
According to SCMP, the model and dietitian will appear in a series of commercials and events to promote the Oppo Find X6 Pro, which comes with a powerful camera setup touted as the world's best camera smartphone.

Leaked photos and video from the first official shoot reveal Elon Musk's mom posing for Oppo ads, suggesting she is the model for the brand's new smartphone.
Oppo has not yet officially released the pictures or video from the photo shoot. But a video leaked on YouTube revealed Maye Musk posing with an Oppo smartphone.
In the video, which seems like a commercial, Maye can be seen with a toy plane in her hand while talking about her mom and her childhood filled with adventure.
She also mentioned how Elon and her two other children inherited her perseverance to grow constantly, which she hopes will take them "to space and beyond."
Elon's space company, SpaceX, is providing satellite Internet access coverage to over 56 countries via Starlink, sending rockets into space, and planning a future Mars trip.
Despite the photos and video not being officially launched, netizens still saw Maye Musk modeling for the Chinese electronics giant's flagship smartphone, the Find X6 Pro.

Oppo Reportedly Trying to Capitalize on the Musk Name
According to SCMP, Oppo's decision to get Maye Musk as a global ambassador was a "surprise to many." The outlet noted that the brand might want to use the popular Musk name to promote the product effectively, which could not be true, as Maye had a modeling career spanning more than 50 years.
She also looks great holding the Oppo Find X6 Pro in the photos and video. The Oppo Find X6 Pro was launched in China last March, and it came with top-end specifications and features as it tries to compete with some of the most prominent and expensive smartphones in the market today.
Oppo has already achieved an important feat, with its Find X6 Pro being recognized by camera benchmarking platform Dxomark as the world's best camera smartphone that beats the likes of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and Google Pixel 7 Pro.
