However, the latest technology with regards to artificial intelligence has sparked a feat regarding game creation, with people concerned that they could lose jobs, according to The Verge. Another major concern is that the use of this technology could also cause legal issues for different studios.

Another Expert Explained How Old AI and New AI were Fundamentally the Same

Another organization called UKIE that is in charge of looking after game companies within the UK, shared their sentiments on the matter. They noted that although they do see the concerns, they also pointed out to how the developments within the field were regarded as "exciting opportunity" when it comes to the industry.

The article by BBC highlights earlier uses of AI, like for example in the 1980s when coins would be placed into an arcade machine for players to help Pacman collect white dots on the screen. There was already a form of AI that told the ghosts where the players were.
