These fighters are Homelander on Amazon Prime Video's "The Boys," Omni-Man on "Invincible," and Peacemaker on DC's "The Suicide Squad," who will join other beloved characters from past Mortal Kombat games.

Evil forces are prospering in "Mortal Kombat 1," and they will be joined by three of the notorious figures in modern pop culture, bringing mayhem to the latest revamp of the game series.

Mortal Kombat 1 DLC: Homelander, Omni-Man, Peacemaker Confirmed

"Mortal Kombat 1" recently confirmed its first DLC fighters for the upcoming game, confirming the arrival of superheroes with nefarious intentions on their respective shows. Two characters from "The Boys" and "Invincible" are coming, with Homelander, played by Anthony Starr, and Omni-Man, voiced by J.K. Simmons.

Mortal Kombat 1's Upcoming Release

If you thought the next Mortal Kombat game would only continue from where it left off with "Mortal Kombat 11," then you are wrong, as NetherRealm and WB Games have much more in store for gamers in their next release.

Initially expected as "Mortal Kombat 12," the developers are now looking to give gamers a fresh start on the beloved fighting game. Besides the original character roster, fans expect more from Mortal Kombat and NetherRealm to bring other renowned characters into the game.

The company is best known for adding guest characters via its DLCs in the previous release, with Krossplay and Joker appearing in the game, alongside the Terminator T-800, John Rambo, Spawn, and more.

It was initially rumored that Homelander and Omni-Man are both coming to Mortal Kombat 1 as DLCs, and the team already revealed it earlier today, alongside four other characters joining.

Peacemaker is also a welcome addition known for his tyranny and self-centeredness, with the three others being MK's previous franchise baddies in the game.
