According to the story by Euro Gamer, the price drop applies in the UK, where it was first seen reaching £40 for the first time this year. So far, that price point is considered its lowest yet, and as of press time, the PS5 DualSense wireless controllers have returned to that listing.
It was noted that the £20 comes at a time when the PS5 standalone disk edition as also being heavily discounted online for different retailers as well. As for where buyers can purchase the DualSense controllers, the article lists two options, Amazon and Currys.
Buyers can Choose to Purchase from Amazon or Currys for the White PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller
However, the two options were for the White edition but should buyers want different colors, they would only be able to choose from one retailer. As seen on Amazon, the PS5 DualSense wireless controller was spotted dropping its price from an RRP of £60.36 down to just £39.99 with a discount of 34% or £20.37.
As for its Currys listing, the device was once listed at £64.99 but then it dropped down to just £39.99 after a significant £25 drop in price. Another thing important to note is that should buyers want to choose other colors, they would have to do so at Currys.
Different Color Options Users Can Choose from When It Comes to the PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller
The article by Euro Gamer notes that users can choose four different colors all at the same price on Currys. It also highlighted that the fact that users would be able to choose their preferred color comes as a bonus.
It was also highlighted that buyers would be able to choose from Cosmic Red, Starlight Blue, Nova Pink, and Midnight Black on top of the conventional white controller. This would make a lot of sense for buyers that want a more personalized feel to their consoles.

Another Customization Option is for Buyers to Purchase a PS5 Console Cover
Another option that buyers can choose if they want to customize their PS5 is to purchase console covers to match with the PS5 Dual Sense Controller. As seen on the official PlayStation website, buyers would also have different choice of console covers for their PS5.
The options that buyers can choose from include a Gray Camouflage, Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Starlight Blue, Galactic Purple, and last but not least, the Nova Pink. The console covers are reportedly easy to use and don't require any customization as users can simply place them on top of their PS5.
