Ever wonder what to stream when traveling on an airplane or downloading earlier to be equipped for the journey? That is no longer a problem with AirCanada as it announced its latest partnership with Apple TV+ to provide free in-flight entertainment right on the headrest monitors found on each seat when flying with the company.

Users no longer need to worry if they have no Apple TV+ subscription as AirCanada will be providing the experience to them right on their seats.

AirCanada is the first Canadian-based company to offer Apple TV+ streaming on its flights but is the second in the world to bring this aboard its planes, as per its recent announcement. The airline company is now celebrating this massive partnership that expands more of what it offers for in-flight entertainment.

Shows including Ted Lasso, Bad Sisters, Severance, Foundation, and more are all available via AirCanada's flights, with guests eligible to continue their Apple TV+ streaming onboard.

"We look forward to welcoming customers onboard to catch up on their favorite Apple TV+ shows or discover new hits during their flight," said John Moody, Managing Director of Product Design at Air Canada. "This new partnership with Apple puts us on track to increase our onboard entertainment content by more than 95 per cent since last year."

This follows the company's latest partnership with Mattel to bring its shows to the company's flights and planes, providing family-friendly shows onboard.

Free Apple TV+ In-Flight Entertainment

What is even more iconic with this partnership is that it would not matter if users do not have an Apple TV+ subscription, as it would be available for free when flying with AirCanada.

The company prides itself on a massive trove of in-flight entertainment offers for its passengers, as recognized by Global Traveler and by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) with the Passenger Choice Award for Best Entertainment in North America.

AirCanada also prides itself in providing live TV channels and sports streaming right on its flights.

Apple TV+ and What it Offers

Despite the massive streaming wars from various platforms around the world, Apple TV+ remains one of the most iconic services there is, featuring award-winning shows of different genres. Apart from shows, Apple TV+ also offers massive sports content alongside different partners, with multi-view features to watch various matches.

Cupertino's renowned streaming platform was originally made available on Apple devices only, exclusively distributing its content on iPhone via the app, the Mac via the app and web, and also the Apple TV box.

However, it is expanding its services more on other platforms including Windows, offering an app coming soon.

Apple is set with what it offers and while most of its shows focus on drama and niche audiences, it still brings award-winning titles that different groups could enjoy. All of what it offers is now available on AirCanada flights, with Apple TV+ streaming content accessible for free and no longer requiring a subscription.
