This is because of the recent announcement by Take-Two Interactive, the Grand Theft Auto publisher, which is confident of a massive surge in the next fiscal year.
This surge is speculated to be the anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6," a game in which fans have been highly invested and await the first reveal from its developer Rockstar Games.
'Grand Theft Auto 6' Is Coming in the 2025 Fiscal Year
"Grand Theft Auto 6" may be coming sooner than expected, as a report from ComicBook Gaming speculated on the game's release by the next fiscal year.
Rockstar's parent company Take-Two Interactive previously revealed that it is expecting a surge in revenue for its fiscal year 2025, which will run from April 2024 to March 2025. These dates have been what speculators and analysts have perceived to be the period of "Grand Theft Auto 6" arrival.
Massive expectations and hype are already surrounding GTA 6, especially with its new female lead, with some claiming they would be a "Bonnie and Clyde" pair which players may switch to from time to time.
Rockstar also announced in 2022 via a community update that it is working on a Grand Theft Auto game but did not specify if it was the sequel. Still, gamers perceived this as the "Grand Theft Auto 6."
