The world is significantly seeing a massive collection of AI technologies, but this new camera, called "DreamGenerator," is taking photography to the next level.

That is because it employs artificial intelligence (AI) to generate a new photo that bases its creation on the image taken by a user. The camera is now under development by its creator.

AI technology has undoubtedly given us a lot, especially in creating something out of nothing. It can also create enhanced images from already available media from one's collection.

DreamGenerator Camera: Powered by AI

CreativeBloq reported that there is a new technology that is under development, and this is the DreamGenerator, a camera powered by AI.

According to the camera's creator Kyle Goodrich, a 3D artist and product designer at Snapchat, this camera can transform any photo from a device into AI-generated content or AI-enhanced image and simplify AI art. Goodrich noted that a lot of AI image generators offer complicated user experiences.

According to Goodrich, the camera is still a prototype that brings in Stable Diffusion and ControlNet to help transform the images, and with only a click of a button, this would significantly change it to whatever the user deems it to be.

Why Is This Camera Turning Photos Into AI-Generated?

Goodrich said this device is a game changer for the already industry-transforming capabilities of an AI image generator, as users no longer need to upload it to online services for the change.

With the DreamGenerator, users no longer have to come up with the perfect prompt to capture what they have in mind and instantly have it instead of navigating an AI-generative platform.

DreamGenerator runs Stable Diffusion to transform photos as soon as they are taken. Its current themes include "fairytale," "retro," "sci-fi," and "pirate," which reportedly look like an extension of smartphone filters.

AI-Generated Content Online

It may be hard to accept, but artificial intelligence is creative and intuitive when creating content for users, which has proven to be the case. Although, AI technologies are most likely to bring users fake news or misinformation for users.

However, there are actions towards using AI legally, with Google in talks with record labels, including the Universal Media Group and Warner Music, looking to license its content to the Mountain View giant's AI developments.

Still, its massive presence is enough to create a buzz online, especially in creating situations that did not happen in real life but are legitimate events with AI content generation.

The massive power of AI now centers on its capabilities to create something out of nothing, but it also promises to enhance content that could expand more of a finished product.

DreamGenerator is an AI-powered camera, and this concept can turn one's photo into AI-generated content while still capturing specific elements or placements.
