Moment has become a popular name in the world of smartphone photography, recognized for developing professional-grade lenses that enhance the capabilities of your phone's camera.

Now, the company is taking a significant leap forward with its latest release: the Moment T-Series lenses. These new lenses offer larger mounting capabilities and enhanced light capture, redefining what's possible in mobile photography.

Redesigned for Modern Smartphone Cameras

Android Authority reports that one of the most significant upgrades in the T-Series is the 20% larger mounting area. This redesign makes the lenses easier to install and allows more light to flood into your phone's camera sensors.

The result? Crisper, clearer, and more vibrant images that truly capture the essence of the moment.

Despite some major changes, the lenses retain the same functionality: Attach a mounting device to your phone, which can be a dedicated case, a stick-on base, or a universal mount. Once secured, the lens can be effortlessly connected to the mounting device.

Also, the options are diverse, including the beloved anamorphic, telephoto, fisheye, and more, each offering a unique perspective to your photographic journey.

Moment and Android

One of the most exciting developments with the T-Series launch is Moment's renewed commitment to the Android platform.

In 2020, the company announced discontinuing its companion app for M-Series lenses on Android, citing the platform's fragmentation issues.

However, the landscape has evolved since then, and in their press materials, Moment declares that Android phones are now "leading the charge when it comes to new camera phones."

This renewed commitment is particularly aimed at flagship devices like the Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 8, and Galaxy S24 series. Moment acknowledges the impressive strides Android manufacturers, especially Google and Samsung, have made in the camera space.

With T-Series lenses, Android users can expect seamless compatibility and exceptional performance on par with their iPhone counterparts.

Support and Upgrades

There is no need to worry for those who have invested in Moment's M-Series lenses. The company plans to continue supporting these lenses, although their compatibility with future phones might be limited due to evolving camera designs.

Moment is ready to offer trade-in discounts for M-Series lenses to facilitate a seamless transition to the new T-Series lineup.

However, it is important to note that while Moment is refocusing on Android hardware, there are no immediate plans to return their photo app to the Android platform. This is an area where iPhones will still hold an advantage.

A Lens for Every Vision

The heart of the T-Series lineup lies in the lenses themselves, and Moment has curated an impressive selection to cater to diverse creative needs.

The Anamorphic 1.33x & 1.55x lenses immerse you in a cinematic experience with rich flares and a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio.

The Tele 58mm lens offers a dual-purpose solution, functioning as a portrait and zoom lens, bringing subjects closer with a touch of natural bokeh.

The Wide 18mm lens offers a distortion-free wide-angle view, while the Fisheye 14mm lens lets you capture comprehensive shots without the hassle of dark corners.

Finally, the Macro 10x lens lets you dive into the intricate world of close-ups, capturing the tiniest details with astonishing clarity.
