Tesla will launch the "Highland," their newest Model 3 variation, in China. According to a Bloomberg report, Tesla will deliver these luxury automobiles to showrooms later this month, suggesting the company's desire to grow in China's electric vehicle industry.

The electric vehicle manufacturer is nearing completion of these showcase cars at the cutting-edge Gigafactory Shanghai facility, according to insiders. Later in August, showrooms throughout China are expected to shine a focus on the upcoming "Highland" Model 3 models.

Tesla is preparing for mass production of the Highland Model 3 to begin soon and get up steam in time for China's National Holiday, which starts on September 30. The exhibition phase is about to come to an end.

What Do Reports Say?

The "Highland" Model 3 design, created by Tesla over a year, has sparked a flood of industry rumors, which an increase in factory sightings and leaks has supported. According to Chinese reports, Tesla hopes to start delivering this new model in September. The China Securities Journal reports that Tesla sales personnel are aggressively persuading potential customers to pay RMB 1,000 (about $137) to reserve, per Teslarati.

Earlier this month, it was reported by several reliable Chinese financial sources that Tesla had begun testing the updated Model 3 design in China. According to these sources, major manufacturing will start in September, with the first deliveries in October. Despite fluctuating delivery timetables, Chinese clients should get the "Highland" Model 3 within two to three months.

Tesla has made significant modifications at its Fremont Factory in Northern California, suggesting it is preparing to create the "Highland" Model 3. The redesign refines the car's exterior and interior to make it seem slimmer. Once manufacturing reaches total capacity, the new design should be cheaper than the old one.

The launch of the new Model 3 variation takes place against fierce rivalry, notably in China's electric car market for sedans. Tesla's strategic decision to introduce the "Highland" Model 3 is in line with its continuous effort to increase its influence in the biggest automobile market in the world.

Tesla Warns Core Lithium of a Possible Case

In another development, Tesla has notified Core Lithium of a 2022 supply agreement. Unfortunately, as the Australian mining business revealed, the deal was not within the allotted period, according to Reuters.

Despite prior agreements, neither party could come to a deal before the October 26, 2022, deadline. According to Core Lithium, Tesla has said that it would investigate "all available legal remedies" if a mutually agreed solution cannot be reached. This information was revealed in a recent Wednesday presentation by Core Lithium.

A legally binding term sheet the corporations agreed to in March of the previous year is the basis for the possible lawsuit. The agreement facilitated discussions for a supply deal in which Tesla, under Elon Musk's leadership, would have purchased spodumene, a lithium-rich mineral.

Core Lithium and Tesla have not yet provided any comments on the matter.

The two parties negotiated the delivery of 110,000 metric tons of spodumene from Core Lithium's Finniss mine in Australia's Northern Territory.
