Ultra-wide gaming monitors are no longer new, but what seems to be combining two monitors into one package and delivering a more ultra-wide screen for all display needs is something that Samsung introduced last CES 2023. The 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 monitor made its way earlier this year and is soon dropping to the public for its October release date recently revealed by Samsung.

The world's first dual monitor screen, as Samsung calls it, touts a sleek finish into one package that is one ludicrous tech for the company, giving gamers and creatives more space to work on for their needs.

Samsung unveiled its latest gaming monitor that is said to be the first dual UHD display in one package, The Odyssey Neo G9 is set to drop this October for the world to experience. The South Korean company has a massive monitor on display on Gamescom 2023, available for those looking to see the device for themselves to assess how it would look on their setup.

Alongside this release, Samsung is also set to deliver an updated 2023 55-inch Odyssey Ark, the most advanced and capable gaming monitor in its lineup.

The Odyssey Neo G9 is marketed as a dual-screen curved monitor in one, featuring Dual Ultra-High Definition (DUHD) with a 32:9 aspect ratio, giving off a vibe of two 32-inch monitors in one.

It features 1,000 nit peak brightness, HDR, 240hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and a USB hub.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is more affordable compared to its Odyssey Ark flagship, but it is still an expensive monitor to add to one's setup. It is available for $2,499.99, and its price is not bad for its size, form factor, and specs that it has to offer.

The previous Odyssey Neo G9 was only 49 inches, with this screen adding as much as eight more inches to maximize its display.

Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitors

Gaming and creativity monitors have been a staple in the display world for a long time, and despite their size which resembles televisions, it remains an accessory to devices and platforms to complete the experience. Samsung is no longer new to dropping large-sized curved gaming monitors to the world, from its more affordable 49-inch QHD Curved monitor, down to its expensive 55-inch Odsyssey Ark.

Its largest gaming monitor to date is the 55-inch Samsung Odyssey Ark which features a massive screen with 1000R curvatures on its form factor that maximizes all sides of the display. However, it is a notorious one for the industry, as it features a $3,500 price tag in the present, with Samsung introducing it last year to bring an alternative to a dual monitor setup.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is coming soon this October, and it is significantly cheaper at $2,500, still featuring iconic specs that are set to stage a dual-monitor setup in one.
