Huawei has long been in the smartphone game and although they ran into some problems in the US, the company continues to push when it comes to developing new models. Recently, leaks of the Huawei Mate 60 started to appear online, confirming how it would include a dual-color design.
The Huawei Mate 60 Device Comes with a Dual-Color Design at the Back of the Panel
According to the story by GSM Arena, this comes as the smartphone is already in production and the new color scheme has surfaced. The dual-color design can be spotted on the back panel of Huawei's new Mate 60 smartphone.
With additional photos starting to make their way online which some conclude comes from an assembling plant, more color options for the camera have been revealed. Aside from the new color design, the new camera is also expected to come with its own circular camera island as well.
Smartphone Comes in Purple at the Back Showing a Clear Distinction with a Dual-Color Tone
One particularly distinct feature spotted in the picture was the fact that one of the smartphones was in color Purple. The top part of the glass was frosted and at the same time, the bottom was left clear.
Huawei's choice of design made the smartphone seem like the smartphone actually had two different hues of the same color. This depends on how light hits the smartphone and the angle at which it reflects on the surface.
Ivory-White Option Comes with Clear Distinction in Terms of Top and Bottom Colors
It was also noted that another version of the smartphone, an ivory-white option, shows the bottom part of the smartphone entirely in gray. The metallic bottom is very distinctive due to the strong contrast with the ivory-white.
As for the Black option, the dual-color design hasn't been confirmed because it still has the design element. As noted by GSM Arena, this is because the image was too far to be able to confirm whether the Black variant really deviates from the dual-color design.

Images of the Huawei Mate 60 Show the Device in Black, Purple, and Ivory-White Options
The image of the Purple option was uploaded on Weibo, showing a sneak peek of what buyers might expect from the upcoming Huawei Mate 60. However, the image is still very far and doesn't reveal much especially regarding the Black variant.
As seen on My Fix Guide, the devices as seen in the pictures are similar to the renders and the publication notes that the black color doesn't have any addition. However, the camera design uses the same triple camera lens setup with a module shaped like a circle.
In the middle of the circular camera is the word XMAGE, and as per past leaks, the upcoming smartphone could feature a dual punch-hole display in the center. It was also noted that the punch-hole would be using the 3D ToF sensor on top of the flagship-tier lens for selfies.
