The Eras pop star, Taylor Swift, got an unexpected reply from a tech mogul regarding the upcoming new album she has been promoting online, 1989 (Taylor's Version), with Elon Musk sliding on her thread. Here, Musk has recommended the 12-time Grammy Award winner singer-songwriter to post her music or concert videos directly on X, the social media formerly known as Twitter.

While Musk is known to be very active online via the platform he owns, there were limited interactions from the tech billionaire towards renowned artists, except for Kanye West from before.

Elon Musk and X Wants Taylor Swift to Post Her Music Online

Taylor Swift teased the upcoming re-release of her album from 2014, now 1989 (Taylor's Version), on various platforms, including X, and this garnered significant attention, with Elon Musk joining the conversation.

In the X owner's reply to the thread, he has recommended something odd to the pop star, with Musk suggesting that Taylor Swift post "some" of her music or "concert videos" directly on the platform.

Of course, this received numerous reactions from fans and supporters of both personalities, with some posting memes that asked the multi-tech CEO to "get a job" and "stay away" from Taylor Swift.

Another user said that Musk made a "great point" in his recommendation, saying that Swift could earn via X due to ad revenue, X's feature that would include advertisements on her thread, considering her humongous fanbase.

Taylor Swift's 1989 (Taylor's Version) on X?

Musk was kept hanging by Swift in his reply, as there are no replies yet from the renowned music artist with no confirmation regarding posting any of her music or videos on the platform, including her upcoming 1989 (Taylor's Version).

It is also unknown if Swift will regularly upload on X from here on out, with the singer having 94.4 million followers and seeing a massive reach in her various posts.

Elon Musk, X, and Taylor Swift

There were almost no interactions between Elon Musk and Taylor Swift before this reply by the tech mogul that made waves in the tech and music industry, and this one came as a surprise to many. It is known that Swift has a massive fanbase and is among the only few artists who can crash Spotify after dropping her album, something that was seen with the 2022 release of 'Midnights.'

On the other hand, there are several concerns regarding X now with Elon Musk's headlining ways to make the platform profitable and attract more customers and advertisers here. It was reported that it may not regain the volume of advertisers it had in the past in time for the holidays, especially as many denounced the Musk-owned social media.

While Taylor Swift is busy going around the world on her ongoing Eras Tour, there is an upcoming re-release of her album, 1989 (Taylor's Version), this October, her quest to regain her songs due to label problems. The massive fanbase and influence of Swift is something that Musk wants to see on the platform, with X seeing significant controversies in the present.
