iPhone 15 Pro is finally here and it's tempting to get it as soon as possible. However, if you decide to ditch it for the sake of waiting for its successor, maybe your patience will pay off when you hear its rumored features.

The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to launch in September 2024, but as early as now, here's a glimpse of some stuff that you can anticipate with this next-gen handset.

iPhone 16 Pro Rumors So Far

If you're planning to skip the iPhone 15 Pro this year, then maybe you're just waiting for the right one for you, which is the iPhone 16 Pro.

Bigger and Better Displays

For users who want to see games and apps on a big screen, then the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could finally bring it next year, according to Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young.

As MacRumors reports, the upcoming iPhone Pro will boast a 6.3-inch display. The Pro Max variant will showcase an even bigger screen at 6.9 inches.

For a more optimized streaming experience, the 2024 iPhone models are allegedly coming with higher aspect ratios. This is a slight improvement from the 6.1-inch screen and 6.7-inch screen of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, respectively.

Enhanced Ultra Wide Camera

Photography fans will appreciate the upgraded 48-megapixel Ultra Wide camera lens featured in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Thanks to this enhancement, you can capture high-resolution photos with impeccable detail, particularly when shooting in 0.5× mode.

Lightning-Fast Wi-Fi 7 Support

Prepare for lightning-fast internet connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 support in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, as predicted by Pu.

According to him, the two models will have Wi-Fi 7 support which will guarantee faster and easier transmission across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands at the same time.

If this is true, Apple is not kidding anymore when it comes to Wi-Fi speed. With rock-solid connectivity and reduced latency, the iPhone 16 Pro is set to deliver over 40 Gbps-four times faster than Wi-Fi 6E.

Expanding Optical Zoom

Ming-Chi Kuo, a supply chain analyst, hints at a remarkable upgrade for the iPhone 16 Pro models. 

The 5x optical zoom, previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, is set to expand its reach to both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Get ready for even more versatile and stunning photography possibilities.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is Years Ahead of iPhone 16 Pro

In another report by Sam Mobile, Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra will be too much for Apple's iPhone 16. With its 10x optical zoom, the Cupertino giant's flagship will be no-match against Samsung's latest handset.

While "tetraprism" zoom is already impressive for iPhone 15 Pro Max, it won't be enough to beat Galaxy Ultra S23 since it only offers 5x optical zoom.
