There are various speculations on Apple's next iMac release, but the latest claim from a renowned analyst said it is expected to come out just in time for Halloween 2023.

It could be an announcement via a press release or Apple launching it via an event, which has a low chance of happening, either by October 30 or 31.It also remains unknown whether this will take place, as there is less than a week to go before this month concludes.

New Apple iMac Coming This Halloween 2023 for its Refresh

new report from Mark Gurman via Bloomberg's Power On Newsletter centered on the arrival of a new iMac this year, and yes, it would reportedly arrive by either October 30 or 31.

Amid the Halloween celebration, Apple would reportedly reveal a haunting comeback of none other than the 24-inch iMac, which people thought was long forgotten as it took Apple more than two years before updating it.

There are also new Apple MacBook Pros reported coming out at the end of October, but the insider did not mention any specific deliverables regarding this device.

Gurman noted that it remains unclear if Apple would finally launch the M3 for the computers soon, with the sure processor being the M2.

What to Expect on the Apple Announcements

9to5 Mac reported that Mark Gurman's claims on this October's releases would focus on refreshing the lineup, but come 2024, Apple is set to bring the iMac's new variant, the 32-inch.

It is also expected that these releases would headline Cupertino's holiday lineup, set to bring the latest for the gift-giving season. This also follows Apple's announcement earlier this month about Apple Pencil, featuring its upgrade to USB-C.

Are Apple iMacs Coming This Year?

There are varying reports regarding when to expect the new iMac computers. Claims negate each other, with different insiders having numerous reports about the Apple lineup.

Gurman strongly believes that there will be an Apple release for the Mac this year, and it may be expected to be in announcement form only, centering on the M2 refresh for the 24-inch iMac.

However, another renowned insider, Ming-Chi Kuo, said there would be no Apple Macs coming this year, and the best bet for the computer's release would be in 2024, with either the M2 or M3 upgrade for the iMac as well.

It was also claimed that the M3 would arrive next year, with the analyst being firm that Apple's next computer releases would take place next year. The two top insiders have varying statements regarding the arrival of the next Mac computers, particularly the iMac refresh for its 24-inch variant.

However, the recent claim by Gurman was that Apple is brewing something, and it is coming at the end of the month, with the new iMac to be released two years after its last refresh, soon getting the M2 chip.
