The latest video game adaptation into a live-action series is coming next year, and Amazon gives the world the premier release of Fallout, offering an in-depth look into the Wasteland. Yes, this upcoming Prime Video series takes its inspiration from Bethesda Game Studios' renowned video game franchise, Fallout, centering on the post-apocalyptic world rid of radioactivity and unlawful factions. 

In this adaptation, the world of Fallout will give users a dive into the Vaults, as well as venturing into the Wasteland to hunt for resources and rediscover the world two centuries later.

Amazon released a new set of photos that detail the upcoming live-action adaptation series of the popular video game franchise, Fallout. 

The e-commerce company also brought significant details that cover an in-depth dive into what to expect from the series, premiering next year on Prime Video. 

Moreover, its cast was already named, with Ella Purnell starring in the series as Lucy, a Vault 33 dweller, paired with Overseer Hank, her father and leader of the Vault, played by Kyle MacLachlan.

What to Expect from Fallout's Live-Action Adaptation

Amazon and Kilter Films are producing the show, with the series set in the year 2296, 219 years after the fictional nuclear war that destroyed the planet, forcing communities to go underground. There is also a report by Vanity Fair that shared that "Vault Boy" the popular mascot of the entire franchise, will be given an origin story that Bethesda praises. 

The fallout series will also give us a glimpse into the Brotherhood of Steel, the Ghouls roaming the Wasteland, and more in this adaptation of the video game.

Fallout, The Renowned Franchise from Bethesda

Tim Cain's Fallout was first released in 1997 for the MS-DOS and Classic MacOS, but due to its insane popularity during its time, it was ported into the Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux platforms. The game franchise is now owned by Bethesda Softworks, with the Bethesda Game Studios developing new titles for the series, soon offering Fallout 5 for all.

Throughout the years, Fallout changed its setting and game style for the world, from its initial beginnings as a role-playing game in the bird's eye view, down to its first-person shooter experience when venturing the Wasteland. Its latest release in the franchise was Fallout 76 from 2018, offering significant updates and new seasons through the years. 

This series by Amazon, is giving fans and gamers across the world an experience of what it is like to live in Vaults, enclosed from the outside world that is unruly and lawless, making it a danger for all. Premiering by next year's mid-Spring, this new series will bring its story via the Prime Video platform, offering the culmination of Cain, Bethesda, Kilter Films, and Amazon for all.
