March is best known to be one of Apple's annual launch periods for the Mac and iPad lineup, and this coming year, it is already setting up for the new devices to get an upgraded M-series chip for what it will feature. There are three devices slated for the end of 2024's first quarter, centering on the renowned Spring event of the company, with the MacBook Air, and its iPad lineup refresh.

One of the stars of this event is the M3 chip, with the latest and most powerful Apple chipset to bring new experiences this March 2024.

The latest Power On Newsletter from Bloomberg via Mark Gurman reinforces the news regarding Apple's 2024 launch, particularly the M-series releases coming this March. This release window is the same as the ones before it, with March dedicated for the MacBooks and iPads.

One of the main focuses of March 2024's release is the MacBook Air which is finally getting its M3 upgrade, following Apple's recent upgrade for the MacBook Pro from last October.

All About the iPad Lineup Refresh for 2024

Gurman further reinforced the idea for the upcoming iPad lineup refresh of 2024, but it only talked about two versions of the renowned Apple tablet.

First off, there is the M3 iPad Pro coming next year, featuring an OLED display, with two sizes available, one in 11 inches and another in 13 inches.

On the other hand, there will also be an iPad Air update by March, and it will feature the previous-gen chip, the M2, featuring a 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch option which is the latest in its offer.

Apple's M3 and its Soon Releases

The spooky Halloween celebration this year was met with Apple's surprising new releases, centering on the latest Silicon-based chip of the company, the M3. First off, this presents a new design process, bringing forth a 3-nanometer device meant to bring the all-in-one technology to Apple's devices.

In the event, Apple debuted three computers which got the early taste of what M3 has to offer. This includes a MacBook Pro update with the 14-inch and the 16-inch variants both getting the new SoC.

On the other hand, more than two years after the iMac's refresh with the M1, Apple finally decided that it was the third device to get an upgraded experience with the M3, bypassing the previous M2 release. It saw mixed reactions from the public and enthusiasts as Apple only changed the chip for the desktop computer, and most of its components remained the same.

That being said, the M3 is already here to bring a lot of upgrades for the public on various Apple devices, and this includes other MacBook laptops, with the Air getting the upgrade. However, one of the most anticipated updates from Apple is the M3's arrival on the iPad Pro lineup, giving the professional tablet more power and features, and the iPad Air getting the previous-gen M2.
