The wait is getting shorter and shorter every day for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's arrival next year, but it still faces a delay on one platform until 2024, the developers confirm. The good thing is that the game's wide release has no news yet of any delays for its original slated release date of February 2024, and this is already after three delays for all platforms in the past.

According to a user part of Rocksteady's Discord channel for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the game studio announced yet another delay, but the good news is that it only applies to one platform. This is for the PC but is specific only to the Epic Games Store and its client, with the Discord announcement singling out the platform.

That said, instead of receiving the game in February, they will get it or be available for purchase on March 5, 2024.

The announcement claimed that users who have pre-ordered via the platform will be refunded their purchases, with Epic canceling their orders and returning their money directly. It said users should expect a confirmation email from the Epic Games Store Support team.

They also asked fans and games to contact Epic Games' help team for further inquiries.

Why is Rocksteady Studios Delaying the Game's Release Here?

Rocksteady Studios and WB Games did not reveal the reason behind the Epic Games Store's delay, cancelation, and refund of the game.

It remains unknown what would happen to gamers who still want to continue their purchases via the Epic Games Store and when it would be available for pre-order. However, one thing is sure in this announcement, and that is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set for February 2 for all other platforms and by March 5 for Epic Games.

Rocksteady Studios and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

In 2020, the world thought Rocksteady Studios was ready to drop an official release date for one of its most anticipated games, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, after the DC FanDome event in 2020. It was initially speculated that it would be joined by another DC game, particularly a development from WB Montreal for a Batman sequel title.

After promising a 2022 release date, Rocksteady told the public that the game is delayed until May 2023, and it already disappointed fans, particularly those who pre-ordered.

However, the studio further revealed bad news to those anticipating the game, claiming it would be available in February 2024.

For now, that is the latest word from Rocksteady Studios and WB Games regarding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, with most of the platforms it will be available on, getting it on the second month of next year. However, not the same can be said for the Epic Games Store and its client, particularly as the recent announcement delays it one month further by March.
