Samsung fans are wondering why the company remains silent about the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup yet it's evident that the leaks about it are quite "true."

According to the latest reports, it's clear right now that the leaker has willingly shared his knowledge about the new handsets that are slated to debut in January 2024.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Leak Now Taken Down

2023 is nearing its end yet rumors about Samsung Galaxy S24 are not yet ending. According to the latest report, the upcoming smartphone lineup will debut by mid-January 2024.

In its latest report, UK-based publication Express spotted that the popular Samsung Galaxy S24 leak was already deleted on Twitter, which is now X.

The information came from Evan Blass, a reliable tipster in the tech industry. To visualize what the post looks like, just imagine that it has a countdown timer leading to January 18, 2024. He tipped that the Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled on the said date at 3 AM Korean time.

For US residents who are waiting for this Samsung event, it's equivalent to January 17, 2024.

Since then, the South Korean tech giant took matters into its own hands by deleting what Blass posted on X. It was stated in the removed tweet that the "media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner."

At this point, Samsung does not want to spoil the fans about the Galaxy S24 series. The last Unpacked event was held in August in Korea where viewers saw the official launch of Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.

Additionally, the countdown timer also includes "Galaxy AI is coming" text which could hint that the Galaxy S24 handsets will be packed with AI features. However, nothing is specified yet about them.

It's still hard to believe where Blass got the information about the Samsung Galaxy S24. However, it's fascinating to know that the smartphone maker acted quickly so only a few people could see the post.

What to Expect About Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Since it will be the next Samsung flagship, the S24 Ultra is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 3 processor. However, the Exynos chips will see a comeback for both the regular S24 and S24+ variants.

Additionally, the report includes that there will be some similarities between S24 and S23 when it comes to design. However, the glaring difference is about its flat display instead of the curved display.

It's also important to mention that Samsung will boast an upgraded camera system for the 2024 Galaxy smartphone family. We might get an improved main lens that could exceed S23's 200MP.

Unfortunately, while it looks promising at first glance, rumors suggest that it won't come with 10x optical zoom. Instead, it will only get 5x zoom.

Can the Samsung Galaxy S24 Beat the iPhone 15?

Now that the iPhone 15 is freely roaming in the market, we have already seen how capable it is. It can run PC games at a modest frame rate which is surprising for a handset.

According to Tech Times, the advanced chipset will be a deciding factor if it will be fast enough to compete with other brands. However, a previous leak says that Galaxy S24 will be faster than iPhone 15 and it can even surpass the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra.
