The world will soon see the actual Apple Vision Pro in stores, available for demos, and sold to the public in the coming weeks or months per speculations, but an important event is taking place this week which is its preorder availability. Come this Friday, Apple will open the preselling for the Vision Pro from its online stores and US retail stores, with the units starting at a whopping $3,499.99.

Less than a year after it was unveiled at Apple's WWDC 2023 event, the Vision Pro would soon be making its official debut for all to experience.

As what Apple announced on its official website for the Vision Pro, the headset would be available to preorder starting January 19, at 5:00 AM Pacific Time, also updating the page for its actual release date. According to the Cupertino giant, the device would be available come February 2, which is more than two weeks from now.

This release date revelation is typical of Apple's preorder timeline, as when the company makes it available to pre-purchase, customers and fans need to count two weeks before it is widely available.

Apple will offer a dedicated purchase page for all preorders of the Vision Pro, and it is expected to start at $3,499,99 without the different options, versions, or add-ons yet.

Here's What to Expect from the Vision Pro

First and foremost, the Vision Pro is a spatial computer that is packaged into a wearable that offers both augmented and virtual reality (AR and VR) experiences. It uses a dual-chip design to power the device, with ultra-high definition resolution offering 23 million pixels across both displays.

Moreover, it offers immersive spatial audio, real-time feed, and access to iPhone and iPad apps, alongside the apps optimized for the visionOS.

The Apple Vision Pro

The Apple Vision Pro is already peeking over at the horizon as its release date nears, with the first-ever wearable headset from Cupertino soon to deliver what it promised to the world in its last showcase. According to a renowned Apple insider, Ming-Chi Kuo, Vision Pro's release would only see limited stocks of the devices, so one of the sure ways to get it is through preorders.

It is expected that Apple will release the Vision Pro by February 2024, and this was in line with what the company said it would make the mixed-reality headset available for all. In WWDC 2023, Apple only said that the Vision Pro would be available by early 2024, with February highly speculated by the world to be the timeline where it would see this premium wearable filled with the top specs available.

With its initial demos and specs released by Apple, the Vision Pro is expected to be the most advanced XR headset there is, offering significant experiences with the iOS interfaces and more. Later this week, Apple will make preorders available for all interested buyers of the Vision Pro, securing them a unit when it arrives.
