One of the most anticipated features coming to Call of Duty's Modern Warfare III today was the Ranked Play, but it seems like there is a delay in its rollout as gamers still have not yet seen this mode appear. After the latest update under Modern Warfare III's Season 1 Reloaded, players are expecting the ranked mode to appear, as initially promised by the developers.

However, it is not the only game experiencing difficulties now, as it was reported that Warzone 2.0 is seeing issues after the recent update.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's Ranked Play is Delayed

As many expected to experience the Ranked Play on Modern Warfare III, many are met with disappointment after not finding the new competitive game mode available on the game. In an announcement by Call of Duty's update page on X, Ranked Play on MWIII is facing delays in its rollout, and this is because of a "recently discovered" critical issue with the game.

It is unknown if the issue centers on the game itself or from the update that Activision Blizzard recently rolled out.

The team said that they are now investigating what happened to the said Ranked Play and will work on resolving the issue that would soon deliver this experience.

Will the Ranked Play Arrive on Modern Warfare III?

As initially promised earlier this year via Call of Duty's blog post about Season 1 Reloaded, the upcoming multiplayer Ranked Play will bring gamers to competitive 4v4 matches, offering the same settings, maps, and modes as the Call of Duty League (CDL).

Moreover, it will be exclusive access for users as those who reached Level 55 would be eligible to participate.

Despite its promising experiences and many looking forward to it, the delay caused issues for what could have been an enjoyable experience now.

Call of Duty's Games and Recent Updates

When Modern Warfare 3 was on the verge of releasing, there were many promises from the developers for the new experiences to arrive in-game, and this is despite the title being a remaster for modern platforms. One of the most anticipated features of the game was the maps that it will revive with its release, centering on some favorite locations from MW2 coming to the game.

Moreover, the game introduced different experiences and game modes for the public to enjoy, and one of them is the iconic 3v3v3 that pits nine players in one match, each having three operators to fight for dominance and skill. This game mode was regarded as a "cutthroat" experience on the renowned first-person shooter game with its more competitive matches available.

For Season 1 Reloaded, best known as the mid-season updates, Call of Duty promised gamers an assortment of new experiences for both the Modern Warfare III and the Warzone 2.0. However, so far, gamers have only received disappointments with the latest drop of the update, with MWIII missing the awaited Ranked Play, with the team saying that they are still working to resolve the issue.
