Right now, the Apple Vision Pro is only available in the US, but that does not mean that foreigners can't purchase this wearable. Here's what you need to know before placing your order.

According to a report by 9to5Mac, there are certain things you need to expect if you are planning to get an Apple Vision Pro outside the US.

Prescription Limitations: Apple Vision Pro partners with Zeiss, accepting only vision prescriptions from U.S. eye care professionals. Additionally, Zeiss restricts shipping to U.S. addresses, emphasizing its U.S.-centric approach.

Content and App Restrictions: Due to licensing constraints, users outside the United States may encounter limitations in accessing certain content, apps, and features on Vision Pro.

Language and Region Settings: Vision Pro primarily supports English (U.S.) for language, typing, Siri, and Dictation. To seamlessly enjoy Apple Music and Apple TV app purchases, users need an Apple ID with the region set to the United States.

App Store Access: The App Store for visionOS necessitates an Apple ID configured with the United States as the region.

Support Accessibility: Apple Support for Vision Pro is exclusively available within the United States, indicating a localized support system.

Shipping Delays For Apple Vision Pro

As pre-orders for Vision Pro commenced, shipping estimates swiftly extended to March, signaling high demand. The three storage configurations (256GB, 512GB, and 1TB) faced supply constraints, with the 256GB model encountering early limitations.

Shipping timelines may vary based on size preferences, with certain sizes showing availability for delivery in early February. Prospective buyers are encouraged to explore options in the Apple Store app for precise details.

While Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted an initial availability of 60,000 to 80,000 Vision Pro units in the U.S., the actual figures remain undisclosed, aligning with Apple's practice of not reporting unit sales for its products.

According to The Verge, YouTube won't be accessible on the Vision Pro. The same thing goes with Netflix, the most popular streaming app at the time.

You can now place your pre-orders for Apple Vision Pro. However, the Apple Store is currently down as of writing.
