Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions are not sitting idly by with their previous successes and current projects as the renowned gaming developer is teasing a new action-espionage game coming to Sony's PlayStation. As revealed during the latest State of Play event, Kojima is looking forward to creating a new "IP" that would reinvent what the famed game designer offers.
For many years now, Kojima's games have been a testament to his brilliant works and masterfully crafted tactical espionage, action, and thriller titles available to the world.
Action Spy Game Coming to PlayStation from Hideo Kojima
January's State of Play brought the world massive bombs dropped by respective developers, centering on what PlayStation will offer gamers this year and beyond. Apart from Death Stranding 2's latest update from Kojima Productions, the renowned game designer Hideo Kojima has a lot more in store for gamers, including his latest teaser of a new action spy game coming.
Codenamed "PHYSINT," Hideo Kojima is back to his roots with an action-espionage genre in his latest development, which he claimed to be a brand-new and original IP.
The celebrated game director said that this game will feature "cutting-edge technology," alongside a "stellar cast" that will bring a new experience from his studio.

It is not a Metal Gear Solid Game, but New from Kojima
To be clear, this is not a Metal Gear Solid return for Kojima, as he looks into creating a new experience for all, but it is safe to say that it may offer a similar feel to it as this game will be a "culmination of my work" said the director.
It is expected that this game will be released several years from now as Kojima said that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be the team's top priority, and next would be the movie adaptation of the same name.
Kojima's Latest Projects in Multimedia
There are three current developments from Kojima Productions, and partners are on track to bring the latest development in the multimedia spectrum, and not just in games. For the gaming industry, two titles were confirmed by the renowned creator, including Death Stranding 2, its sequel to its famed PlayStation-exclusive and PC space thriller adventure.
Moreover, Kojima is best known for his dedication to expanding beyond the PlayStation with an Xbox horror project titled "Overdose," featuring Margaret Qualley.
That is not all, as Kojima Productions also confirmed another project that would branch out of the gaming world, centering on a Death Stranding movie adaptation that would deliver the experience in a different format.
Despite Kojima's early success with Konami thanks to the Metal Gear Solid franchise, the famed game director branched out to other franchises and set to prove himself beyond Metal Gear. In the latest development, Kojima is not yet ready to exit gaming and teased a new game coming to the PlayStation, expected to be another exclusive, going back to his roots in the action-espionage genre.
