The platform said that it is looking forward to what the future holds for the company, as well as its upcoming new experiences and growth coming soon.

Google and YouTube Subscriptions

The move towards making YouTube Premium the premiere destination for all online video streaming has been rampant in recent years, especially as it offers massive perks and features to enjoy. Moreover, Google recently cracked down against ad blockers on YouTube, as ads are meant to be played for free accounts, shutting down the workaround people resorted to for years.

Apart from ad-free experiences, Google also gave an upgrade to YouTube Premium's streaming features including the 1080p enhanced bitrate option available on the player's settings whenever on the web.

In its bid to line up against the likes of Spotify and Apple Music, YouTube Music, another premium music streaming platform, is best known for its innovative features and wide library from the original streaming platform.

There is also the other subscription of the platform known as YouTube TV, meant for the bigger screens with live games like the NFL, other sporting leagues, channels, and more.

Google positioned itself to be one of the top online or app-based streaming platforms in the world, and one of the top ways to earn revenue in today's age is through subscriptions that offer exclusive perks for users. Despite many opting to use the free YouTube experience, the platform is now crossing over the 100 million threshold for its subscriber count, is expected to grow more in the future.
