The much-anticipated Fortnite x Fall Guys crossover has been delayed. While this was only made known to many via rumors, gamers have awaited it for a long time now.

The new experiences on Fortnite suggested that Fall Guys would be the next in line after Epic Games' title made its way to the renowned battle royale. 

Epic's Unreal Editor in Fortnite (UEFN) made these massive crossovers possible, leading to other gaming experiences with new content offers. 

Fortnite x Fall Guys Crossover Faces Delay, But Why?

Fortnite Creators' official X account announced the delay to the previously-rumored Fortnite x Fall Guys crossover that is coming to the game.

The post revealed that the Fall Guys' beans still need "a little more time to cook," and this witty outtake on the delay only shows that Epic Games needs more time to develop this integration into the battle island.

The Fall Guys beans, a.k.a. the wacky little characters from Mediatonic's famed title, were confirmed last March to make their way into the game, but via the UEFN this May. 

Now, instead of the crossover next month, it will be available come Summer 2024, and it could be any of those three months of the season.

When is Fortnite x Fall Guys Coming to the Game?

This confirms that the crossover is not yet scrapped, with Epic and Mediatonic's collaboration still looking toward Fall Guys' debut via UEFN. 

This program is known for featuring several famed game modes, including the Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite, and Rocket Racing, which Is heavily inspired by Rocket League. 

Fortnite's Famed Crossovers

It is already established that Fortnite is one of the top games that offer crossovers in what it offers, centering on massive franchises and popular media entities that gamers widely enjoy.

Lately, it has centered on renowned series and shows to bring into the battle royale, with Nickelodeon's Avatar franchise seeing its availability in-game for both The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. 

Alongside Season 5's drop, the crossovers also went massive here, starting with the introduction of the Greek mythology theme, as well as Kratos and Midas' return in-game. 

It also featured a new franchise to join the game, centering on Amazon Prime Video's hit animated show, Invincible, which marked its crossover with Fortnite when it showed a glimpse into an alternate world featuring the game in the Season 2 finale. 

The UEFN program paved the way for other Epic Games' development, such as LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and more, which entered the PvP shooter title. 

Fall Guys is known for its battle royale experience that features a unique take on this, with its crossover with Fortnite highly anticipated by gamers, but it is delayed for this summer.
