Hasbro and Robosen are at it again with the famed autonomous Transformers toy robot, now featuring Megatron, the leader of the villainous Cybertron military faction known as Decepticons.

For avid fans and those who have watched the shows or films, Megatron is best known as Optimus Prime's main nemesis, with the self-transforming bot meeting its iconic match.

Optimus Prime and Megatron have been pitted against each other in metal-bashing action for many years, and now this new toy is bringing the adversity to life.

Autonomous Toy Robots: Transformers In Real Life

Three years ago, in August 2021, Hasbro and Robosen first released their Transformers collaboration to the world. It features the iconic Optimus Prime in his animated show of glory as an autonomous toy robot.

The classic design for the Autobots' leader brings a nostalgic 90s feel to life, and it is also voiced by the original actor, Peter Cullen, to offer the ultimate Transformers collectible for all.

A year later, in 2022, Hasbro and Robosen's collaboration is not yet over, as the companies released a new Flagship Optimus Prime auto-converting toy robot which also brings the iconic trailer of the Autobot leader's truck form.

In the shows and films, it is known that Optimus Prime's trailer includes an assortment of his popular weapons, one of which makes the bot better equipped against otherworldly threats.

The collaboration also brought the iconic Dinobot Transformer to life in 2023, featuring Grimlock, the dinosaur-based alien bot known for its conflicting ideas with the Autobots.

The Auto-Converting G1 robot platform from Hasbro and Robosen already has five robots in total, with the latest one centering on the big baddie of the franchise, Megatron, now available for pre-order.
