Sonic Rumble: A High-Speed Toybox Racing Epic

In Sonic Rumble, players will step into the shoes of toy figures, racing against each other to collect rings and prove their speed and agility in the toybox arena.

The game boasts customization options, allowing players to personalize their avatars with iconic characters from the Sonic universe, including favorites like Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, and Shadow the Hedgehog.

Developed in collaboration with Rovio, the masterminds behind the global phenomenon Angry Birds, Sonic Rumble marks the first joint release between SEGA and Rovio.

SEGA-Rovio Partnership

Leveraging Rovio's marketing prowess and SEGA's expertise in game development, Sonic Rumble aims to captivate audiences worldwide and solidify Sonic's presence in the competitive mobile gaming market.

SEGA's decision to venture into the mobile gaming sector was solidified by its acquisition of Rovio in August 2023. With a staggering price tag of €706 million ($776 million), the acquisition provided SEGA with the infrastructure needed to excel in mobile game development, publishing, and advertising.

Fans can look forward to Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the highly anticipated feature film from Paramount Pictures set to hit theaters on December 20, 2024. Additionally, console gamers can anticipate SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS, the latest installment in the Sonic franchise.
