Sky Sports+ promises a substantial increase in live sports coverage, offering 50% more than the standard Sky Sports channel.
According to UK-based online publication The Sun, the app will air up to 100 sporting events simultaneously, bringing unprecedented access to a variety of sports. It will broadcast over 1,000 English Football League (EFL) games per season, thanks to a new partnership between Sky and the EFL. Additionally, Sky Sports+ will feature every match from the men's Super League, ATP & WTA Tours, US Open Tennis, PGA Tour golf, and more.

Where Will Sky Sports+ Be Accessible
The Sky Sports+ app will be integrated into Sky's existing platforms, including the Sky-owned streaming service NOW TV. However, the app relies on internet-based streaming and will not be available on Sky's older boxes.
Virgin Media TV customers who subscribe to Sky Sports will have access to Sky Sports+ on both the Virgin Media 360 box and Virgin Media Stream. However, some on-demand content may not be accessible on Virgin Media's platforms, which will primarily offer live content. Virgin Media will notify customers close to the launch date about the app's availability on older telly boxes.
EE TV customers, formerly known as BT TV, can stream Sky Sports+ via a NOW Sports subscription on both the EE TV 4K Pro Box and the new custom Apple TV box. A NOW Sports subscription is included in EE TV's Big Sport and Full Works plans, ensuring seamless access to Sky Sports+ content.
