How do people get rich? It's a question often met with vague answers like luck or mere hard work. But what practical steps can bridge the gap between aspiration and reality? With this question lingering, trading becomes one of the choices for people with money to make even more money.

But thinking that trading is easy money created an illusion for people who don't want to go through the process. That's why Clover Trading was created so that people who are serious about trading and want to hustle through the ups and downs can operate together in an uplifting community. Dom Mastromatteo, Kyle Williams, and Michael "Huddie" Hudson are the three friends behind the growing trading education platform.

"All three of us crossed over each individual first $1 million within the same week. All of us traded for now 7 to 8 years, and being friends through trading for 4 to 5 years, we decided we wanted to create a community that resembles the friendship we made early on and replicate it for newer traders who need a community to grow with as well," the trio shared.

They all started trading as young people who grew up in middle-to upper-class families. Despite a relatively clear life trajectory, all three felt dissatisfied with the conventional career routes and wanted to achieve more. Stumbling upon trading, they decided to pursue this full-time.

Trading Education

Clover Trading was built around its educational purpose from the beginning. "All of us agreed to have this platform as a way to provide resources for people to learn about trading and make it like a first-hand experience," they highlighted.

"What makes Clover Trading unique is that every person that teaches at Clover Trading that teaches, for the most part, has a verified third-party audited track record that is public through a social site, which allows people to learn from proven profitable traders and become profitable themselves," the founders added.

Because of this notion, Clover Trading built a wealth of resources under Clover Academy, where anybody can learn about day trading at their own pace through a designed course in live webinars, bootcamp tradings, money sheets, even in a tandem trader to ensure there's interactivity in the learning process.

Social Community

The latest finding in 2024 showcased that the success rate of making a living through day trading is 14%. The minimum time to make a living from trading is anywhere from 6 months to a year, which is reasonable if one can hold a full-time job to keep going. However, when one of their students from the trading community managed to earn a 6-figure profit during the 2023 bearish market, Clover Trading found itself a goldmine where the community makes a difference for day traders.

"We want to show that anyone can trade to make a living, that it's possible with consistency and discipline, but it can be a sure thing when it's done within a supportive community," the founders emphasized.

According to Clover Trading, a supportive community includes access to learning resources and a chance to learn in a laid-back atmosphere.

"As serious as trading is, we also like to have fun with it. We do a weekly live stream on YouTube titled 'Wine Wednesday,' where we like to light things up and have a drink. We like hosting in-person events where education is the main point but where cocktail hours and dinner events are included to build up the community, and others get to know one another," they said.

By doing so and actively exposing themselves on social media for education, they have helped shape a new approach to trading, which is in close-knit communities.

"To succeed in trading, the first 6 months to one year is a make-it-or-break-it period. We'd love to be there from the beginning and support the aspiring traders to the finish line," they concluded.

Clover Trading commits to this idea by providing traders with the resources to learn day trading at the tip of anyone's finger. This way, their belief that trading can indeed help change lives for the better is accessible and can become anyone's belief, too.
