
"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" is getting a live-action movie, and Glen Powell wants to be a part of it.
The actor, who is known for his roles in "Twisters" and "Top Gun: Maverick," expressed in an interview with IGN that he has become a fan of the game and shared his thoughts on being part of the live-action adaptation.

In the IGN interview, Powell said that "If there's an Expedition 33 movie, I'd be very interested."
According to a report by GameSpot, he did not elaborate when asked which role he's interested in.

The report likewise notes that there is a live-action adaptation that was announced earlier this year even before the game itself was released.
The game's developer, Sandfall Interactive, will be working with Story Kitchen for the movie. Story Kitchen is known for the movie adaptations of "Sonic the Hedgehog," as well as the upcoming "Life Is Strange" TV series.

The story follows a party of characters on a quest to destroy an entity known as the Paintress. The Paintress causes what is known as the Gommage, which happens yearly and erases those who are at or above a certain age.
It was recently revealed that an update to the game is in the works, which will be made free. However, no release date has been revealed as of writing.
The game is available for the PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S as has sold five million copies since release. It has enjoyed critical acclaim, and many gamers believe that it is in the running for Game of the Year accolades.
