Nintendo is back with good news for Pokémon fans as the upcoming cozy life-sim game "Pokémon Pokopia" now has a set release date, and it is coming on March 5, 2026.
The introduction of "Pokémon Pokopia" last September came as a shock to all, particularly as it was an unexpected development from The Pokémon Company since an action RPG was expected of them.
'Pokémon Pokopia' Release Date Set for March 5
Nintendo of America shared a new post on X which gave an update on the highly anticipated cozy life simulation game set in the world of Pokémon. Previously, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company previously confirmed in the September Direct event that the first-of-its-kind sim game is coming by Spring 2026.
The scheduled release timeline of "Pokémon Pokopia" did not change since it was announced during the Direct event as it will still arrive as scheduled.
Other details regarding the game have not been confirmed as of press time.

Koei Tecmo's Omega Force studio is developing the upcoming cozy life simulation game featuring a new world to venture to, but this time, players get to help a community of pocket monsters thrive together.
Since it was revealed, the "Animal Crossing"-esque title has amassed a significant amount of followers and has created buzz in the gaming industry for its novel take on living with the adorable creatures.
What to Expect from 'Pokémon Pokopia'
According to Engadget's report, "Pokémon Pokopia" is set to get a new trailer on Thursday, November 13, but there is no further information revealed regarding what to expect from it.
The latest scoop was discovered by Gematsu, with Pokémon Japan already having its trailer placeholder available on its channel and is set to stream the upcoming second trailer on Thursday.
It was also revealed that pre-orders would also go live starting Wednesday, November 12, for the digital copy of the game and by Thursday, November 13, for the physical copy. It should be noted that this schedule is for the Japanese region only.
It is important to note that "Pokémon Pokopia's" physical copy would only be a Game Key Card that would provide the "key" to download the game directly on the console.
In this new take on a cozy life simulation game, players would play as Ditto, the Transform Pokémon, and lead a community of creatures to build their haven and work together to improve life.
The game features a variety of different generations of "Pokémon," with a significant focus on the iconic first three starters of the franchise: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
"Pokémon Pokopia" is coming on March 5 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2.
