Leon Scott Kennedy is returning to "Resident Evil."
This is what the latest "Resident Evil Requiem" trailer confirmed when it was aired on this year's The Game Awards. And to the delight of fans around the world, he will be a playable character.
Leon Kennedy Returns to 'Resident Evil'
It has been heavily speculated that Leon will be making his return to the franchise, but Capcom refused to confirm anything.
That changed with the new trailer that was aired during The Game Awards. Host Geoff Keighley confirmed that Leon's storyline will focus more on action, while the storyline of Grace Ashcroft, the other playable character, will be more geared towards horror.
As of press time, it has not been confirmed if other characters associated with the franchise will be returning along with Leon.
