"Cyberpunk 2077" remains a fan favorite of many gamers, but despite its stellar following, it is not getting additional content or updates of any kind from its developer, CD Projekt Red.
'Cyberpunk 2077' Is Not Getting Any New Content in 2026
ComicBook Gaming reported that fans may be disappointed with the latest confirmation from developer CD Projekt Red as the developer made it loud and clear that "Cyberpunk 2077" is not getting any additional content this year.
The Polish game development company shared on their X account that there will be no additional DLCs, content, or expansions coming to the current game of the franchise. This is because CD Projekt Red has been seeing a lot of rumors and claims online that talk about a surprise content dropping to "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," a game from more than a decade ago.
Fans have been referring to this new DLC or expansion for "Cyberpunk 2077" as the "secret new DLC," in line with the earlier rumors from various sources. That said, CD Projekt Red stated that if anything changes regarding this decision, they will make it known to fans.
We have no plans for additional DLCs or expansions. If anything changes, we will inform you all!

'Cyberpunk 2077' Sequel Remains On Track
CD Projekt Red has long confirmed that it is following up "Cyberpunk 2077" with another game based following the resounding success of the company's DLC, "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty."
In May last year, CD Projekt Red shared a massive update regarding "Cyberpunk 2077's" sequel game, saying that the team had begun pre-production of the future title.
Now, the company maintains that the sequel's development remains on track, in line with the company's plans.
It still remains unknown when Project Orion, the codename given to the sequel will debut, but it is one that many fans already await from CDPR.
