‘Ghost of Yotei Legends’ Will No Longer Receive Any Major Updates

Looks like Sucker Punch is ready to move on.

Ghost of Yotei Legends

It has been confirmed that "Ghost of Yotei's" multiplayer co-op mode known as "Ghost of Yotei Legends" will no longer get any major updates in the future.

That means its first content expansion released on April 10 is both the mode's first and last update.

'Ghost of Yotei Legends' Will No Longer Get Major Updates

According to a report by Kotaku, Sucker Punch has confirmed that the multiplayer co-op mode will not receive any major updates from the point onwards.

It can be recalled that a Raid mode was introduced to "Legends" last month as its first content expansion. The new announcement means that it will remain the only content expansion for "Legends"

The confirmation, which was made through a post by Sucker Punch's Lead Designer Darren Bridges published on the PlayStation Blog, says "The Raid update was our last major planned update for Legends. It finishes the story of the Yotei Six in that mode."

"We've loved to see players playing it, continue to play it and enjoy it," Bridges added, "It's been great."

'Ghost of Yotei Legends'

As IGN notes in its report, the base game of "Ghost of Yotei" was released in October of last year. However, no announcement for any content expansion was made until February.

The report also notes that Sucker Punch did not provide any explanation as to why it decided to stop providing major updates for "Ghost of Yotei Legends."

It has also not been made clear, as of press time, if minor updates will continue to be provided for the DLC.
