It's been great past few days for "Terraria," which marked its 15th anniversary last weekend.

In addition to its 15th anniversary, "Terraria" has also reached a significant milestone as the game has now sold a whopping 70 million copies.

'Terraria' Sells 70 Million Copies

According to developer Re-Logic's update on Steam, "Terraria" has now sold 39.6 million copies on PC and 10.7 million copies on console.

19.7 million sales, on the other hand, have been recorded for the mobile version of the game in the last 15 years.

"To say that reaching this milestone is equal parts insane and humbling is a massive understatement," Re-Logic said of its 15th anniversary milestone. "It is really hard to put into words what your support for these many years has meant to our little studio."

"Simply put, you all are the engine that makes this all work," the studio added. "Your support allows us to keep going, keep expanding upon 'Terraria,' without having to fall back to price increases or microtransactions."

15th Anniversary Treat for Fans

Speaking of the game's 15th anniversary, the studio has confirmed that it is working on a couple of cool things that will surely delight fans of the game.

According to a report by Engadget, Re-Logic has confirmed that cross-play will be coming to the game soon. The studio is also working on a collector's edition box set and a Design Works book to give fans a deeper look at the making of the game.

While the contents of this collector's edition box have not been revealed as of press time, it is expected that preorders will open next month.

As for the Design Works book, it is scheduled to go on sale on May 28, according to Eurogamer.

"For those that are not familiar, the Design Works series offers a glimpse behind the curtain - into the journey of Terraria the game and the team behind it," Re-Logic said. "A retrospective look back on the phenomenon that is 'Terraria.' Fun stories from dev-land, never-before-seen artwork, and more!"
