Every February, Doctor Who fans from all over the world flock to Gallifrey One, North America's largest convention celebrating all things Doctor Who.

With over 3,000 attendees and a long roster of guests, this year's Gallifrey One convention sold out within a day after tickets went on sale, even before convention officials announced guests.

So on February 12, Doctor Who fans descended upon the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel to attend panels by writers, actors and others involved in the process of creating Doctor Who. They also took photos with guests, had autographs signed and spent a lot of time and money in the convention's large dealer's room.

This year's Gallifrey One guests featured Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood's John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Burn Gornman and Naoko Mori, along with classic Who series actors Carole Anne Ford, Janet Fielding, Wendy Padbury and Frazer Hines. Everyone's favorite Sontaran, Strax, aka Dan Starkey, was also there, along with a host of others, including convention favorite comics writer Tony Lee, who also hosted the weekend's masquerade costume competition, which included a song and dance number.

This year, Barrowman, along with new series guest star Ellis George, spent much of their time collecting ribbons, a popular Gallifrey One attendee pastime.

Of course, what's a convention without cosplay? And Gallifrey One is no exception. This year saw a host of cosplayers, wearing costumes from both classic and new Who, including doctors, companions, monsters and mash-ups of Doctor Who with other fandoms.

"Thank you to all our attendees, our amazing guests and our hardworking and terrific staff for helping make Gallifrey One 2015 a weekend to remember," writes the Gallifrey One staff. "A weekend full of amazing memories and moments we won't forget."

We couldn't agree more.

For those Who fans, though, who were unable to attend this year's con, we've rounded up some of the best cosplay photos (although this is only a small sampling of what we saw this past weekend) from Gallifrey One.

And for those interested in attending next year's convention, tickets for that event go on sale on May 1 at 10 a.m.
