Sony is no stranger to sales: it seems like there's always something on the PlayStation Network that's being discounted. Even newer games are seemingly on sale every other week, and while some may argue that it's Sony grabbing for cash, most are happy that something in the publisher's library is on sale more often than not.

Granted, this week's sale is a little different: Sony's regular sales typically focus on a single game or series, and may also include movies or TV shows. The Critic's Choice Sale, however, is on another level entirely: a massive list of huge games is on sale, and these aren't 10% discounts, either. It looks like Sony takes awards season pretty seriously: there are over 50 titles on sale across all of the PlayStation platforms, and some of the discounts hit 70% once PlayStation Plus is added in.

These aren't just indie games and bargain bin titles; games like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Destiny are all heavily discounted. The same thing goes for Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Walking Dead Season Two, Far Cry 4, Diablo III - the list goes on and on.

There's also a small bonus for the truly dedicated: spending $100 on the Sony Entertainment Network will grant a $15 bonus. Sure, the ratio of spending-to-saving doesn't really measure up, but if you're going to be spending that much money anyways, it's a nice little bonus.

The sale is scheduled to last through the weekend, so if you want something from the Critic's Choice Sale, make sure to hit the PlayStation Store by Monday, Feb. 23. For a full list of every title on sale, head on over to the PlayStation Blog.
