This is a sad day for American Horror Story fans, as it has been reported that actor Ben Woolf who played the character, Meep, in the previous season, Freak Show, has died. The actor succumbs to injuries he received after being hit in the head by a car last week.

Police officers have been treating Woolf's case as a terrible accident because he was struck in the head by the side mirror. Since Woolf is little over 4-feet in height, chances are the driver did not see him, which is why officers are not laying down charges.

The only good thing on that sad Thursday night was that the driver chose to stay on the scene instead of fleeing. We can only hope the Internet and fans of Woolf do not begin to throw dirt at the driver because he/she is not at fault unless proven to be.

We have to say this because the Internet can be a vile place due to anonymity and freedom of expression.

"We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben," his family said in a statement. "He touched so many hearts in his 34 years. His memory will live on within each of us and within his work."

For those who are unaware, Ben Woolf was a teacher before choosing to become an actor full-time. He lived life as a dwarf, and had to experience all the troubles that come with it. He said he was rarely taken seriously due to his height, but he did not allow it to stop him from having a successful life.

Mr. Woolf survived by his parents and siblings. Due to privacy concerns, they have chosen to stay anonymous, so we have no idea what their names are.
