Spring is just around the corner and for many it is a welcome relief from the icy weather we have all been experiencing. Though seasons are changing, it seems that winter is coming to our TV screens as the much-awaited new season of Game of Thrones will be coming soon.
To help us get through the chill of waiting and to bring good cheer to our days, HBO has put together a hilarious blooper reel of Season 4 -- evidence that the tyrants of Westeros do have a sense of humor.
Game of Thrones is known for its serious tone, scandals, schemes and steamy scenes. The last thing any viewer would ever expect is to see the dangerously handsome Jaime Lannister, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, make the stoic Gwendoline Christie, also known as Brienne of Tarth, laugh out loud for forgetting his line while filming a scene.
The newly released bloopers reel is a welcome treat for fans and viewers as the countdown to Season 5 has set social media abuzz with anticipation. For those looking for clues and spoilers as to what the new season will bring, tough luck as the video only contains outtakes from the previous season.
The video gives us a reminder of the human side to the characters we have come to love and hate as we follow the drama of the show. A chunk of the video also contains missteps of actors walking down stairways, line flubs, and tongue twisters that result in cursing and scene restarts followed by much laughter from the whole cast and crew.
From actors trying to find their balance while walking and maneuvering through sword fights to set and costume malfunctions, the video gives us somehow a condensed summary of previous events, prepping our appetite to devour the episodes of the upcoming season.
