The fifth season of HBO's Game of Thrones is nearly upon us, guaranteed to deliver more intrigue, betrayals and battles as the warring families of Westeros bleed for control of the Iron Throne.

To help tide fans over (and to get them even more excited) HBO will be releasing the second volume of its "Catch The Throne: The Mixtape" in March, and if you thought volume one had some big names, you haven't heard anything yet.

Rap icon Snoop Dogg will be lending a song to volume two, as will metal bands Anthrax and Killswitch Engage. In total, volume two of the mixtape will feature 15 songs, each representing one of the many feuding families in Game of Thrones.

Anthrax, for example, will be representing House Lannister. "As fans of Game of Thrones, we are extremely excited to collaborate on this project," Anthrax's Scott Ian says in a statement. "Recording a song about the Lannister family allows us to connect more with our fans and Game of Thrones fans in a way we would have never imagined."

Snoop Dogg is also a big fan. He provides stoned Game of Thrones recaps for his GGN web series and even nerded out about the show with Seth Rogen.

"It's like the rap game, it's gangster, about family, loyalty and trying to get to the top," he says. "I had to get involved. Give the fans a little bit of how I see it."

Volume one featured 10 tracks from a variety of artists, all borrowing themes and stories from the show. For a taste of what to expect, check out the volume one track "Arya's Prayer" by Dominik Omega below. Game of Thrones season five premieres on HBO April 12.
