The goat from the popular PC game Goat Simulator could make its way to DOTA 2 in the near future. Should it happen, players should not expect this goat to appear as a playable character but as a courier.

For those who are not aware, couriers are cute little creatures in DOTA 2 that carry weapons and other awesome goodies from the base to the player on the battlefield. While we would have preferred to have the goat as a playable character, this is good enough.

From what we've come to understand, the developer of Goat Simulator, Coffee Stain Studios, went to work with Steam Workshop tools to create the goat courier then submitted it to Valve for consideration. Should Valve find the design and humor pleasing, the company would then make it available for purchase by DOTA 2 players.

When the goat is delivering goodies to the player, it runs around with the loot attached to its tongue. On some occasions, the goat would only run on its front hooves and, with a slight upgrade, the goat would have the ability to fly due to an attached jetpack.

From the video below, we must say the goat looks badass in action and very fun to watch.

If folks really want to see the Goat Simulator goat take over DOTA 2, then they need to vote like crazy. Enough votes could be the key to tapping into the heart of Gabe Newell for him and his team to put this goat to work as a courier.

We should also mention that Goat Simulator is coming to the Xbox One later this year. No word on whether this is a timed console exclusive, so PlayStation 4 owners can keep their fingers crossed for now.
