Suicide Squad will be Warner Bros' third DC film in the new Cinematic Multiverse, and Jai Courtney is right in the middle as the Australian villain Boomerang. At the moment, the actor is promoting his new film Divergent Series: Insurgent, but he took the time to answer questions about Suicide Squad.

Courtney also spoke a little about his role in Terminator Genisys, but we won't focus on that today.

In an interview with IGN, Courtney revealed bits of information regarding Suicide Squad. He stated that he did his research on the director, David Ayer, by speaking with folks who worked with him on Fury. Furthermore, we learned that Ayer is a demanding director, so it should be interesting to find out what the actors think of working with him after filming has been completed.

Courtney also said he has seen the costume, but it is still in the design process.

"I've had a few fittings, but the costume is in development as we speak," said Courtney. "It's not going to look like anything that's been done before, and I think this whole world will look a lot different [from] anything else."

Since Boomerang is mainly a villain of The Flash, IGN was wondering if the character will make an appearance in the upcoming solo Flash movie. Well, it seems not even Courtney himself knows what is going on. We're guessing Suicide Squad would have to be a confirmed hit before the writers can think about including Boomerang into The Flash.

"I'm not withholding anything, but that is a dialogue that hasn't been opened yet."

Suicide Squad is expected to begin filming in April and end in September. During that time, we should get a lot of videos and pictures from the set, similar to what we've gotten when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was filming back in 2014.

The film is set for release in August 2016.
