Being the fastest man alive is all fun and games — until the space-time continuum breaks.

That's what happened last week on CW's "The Flash," and now Barry Allen must live with the consequences over and over and over again, in this week's episode titled "Rogue Time."

Barry may have saved the day, but doing so involved traveling back in time and undoing many events in the episode.

It's a scenario straight out of "Groundhog Day" — Barry is forced to relive the same (admittedly not so great) day for all eternity, unless he can devise a way to break the cycle.

For that, Barry turns to Dr. Wells, who says he must attempt to recreate the day as perfectly as possible, without letting anybody know about his predicament. Barry tries to warn Dr. Wells of the events that will come to pass in the future — but as we all know, that's a big no-no when it comes to time travel.

"I do not want to know anything about the future you experience, nothing!" Dr. Wells tells Barry. "Time is an extremely fragile construct. Any deviation, however small, can result in a cataclysm."

Put that way, things sure do sound a lot more serious. EW has a sneak peak at tonight's episode, which you can check out below.

Being trapped in a time-loop also doesn't bode well for Barry's relationship with Iris —undoing events that occurred in last week's episode. Though comic book fans know that Barry and Iris eventually marry in the canon, Flash star Grant Gustin says it may be a while before the two hook up. After all, Iris currently has a boyfriend in the form of Eddie.

"Barry and Iris are most likely going to, in the coming season even, potentially end up together," Gustin told EW. "Anything can happen. I don't see Eddie and Iris having a reason to break up anytime soon."

The future of time, space and Barry's potential romantic possibilities are hanging in the balance. This week's episode is sure to be a doozy, so be sure to tune in.

"The Flash" airs every Tuesday night on the CW.
