With more than three decades worth of WrestleMania matches, it's only inevitable that a few get lost along the way.

There are the matches everyone remembers as amazing, and the matches that everyone remembers as awful...but what about the matches that everyone forgets?

That's the problem, because sometimes gems get lost among a pile of matches that were either unbelievable or unbelievably awful.

There have been some truly fantastic matches over the years that get overshadowed for one reason or another, and just a few days before this year's WrestleMania, WWE Inbox is looking back at the greatest matches that no one remembers:

First and foremost: as always, you can stop paying attention to anything the Miz says as soon as he opens his mouth.

Otherwise, there are some surprisingly good picks. Most of them still feature the wrestlers everyone remembers: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall, Chris Jericho vs. Christian - but they're genuinely under-appreciated. Few people even remember the Steiner Bros. vs. the Headshrinkers, despite the fact that it was a near-perfect example of how to do a great tag team match.

Shawn Michaels excelled in just about every match he ever performed in, and the same applies to Stone Cold Steve Austin - so, it's a shame that so few people forget about one of their best matches. It's a testament to how good the performers were - both men had so many amazing matches under their belts, it was only a matter of time before one or two got buried under everything else.

That being said, not all of the picks are great: Hulk Hogan vs. the Rock was one of the most publicized matches ever, how could anyone forget it? It was one of the few times that the Rock was actually booed, and that's only happened a handful of times. Sure, it was a great match, but it's not exactly underrated.

There have been some truly amazing matches that have simply faded from people's memory over the years - hopefully, this year's WrestleMania can match that same level of quality without being forgotten.

WrestleMania airs this Sunday, March 29 on the WWE Network.
