Amazon recently cut the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 for Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, and it has just given the HTC One M8 similar treatment on all three carriers.

As we get closer to the launch of Samsung's and HTC's 2015 flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and One M9, consumers will be able to find some great deals on their predecessors. Amazon recently slashed the price of the Galaxy S5 on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint to $1.00 when signing a new two-year contract, which is a considerable savings over the $129.99 price tag AT&T is currently charging for the S5.

Amazon has also just cut the price of last year's flagship HTC One M8 on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint just days ahead of the HTC One M9's launch. Customers interested in picking up a Verizon or Sprint HTC One M8 will score the best savings, as Amazon has priced the smartphone at the very low price of $0.01 when signing a new two-year contract. The retailer is offering the AT&T HTC One M8 for $69.99 when signing a new two-year contract.

The HTC One M8 features an aluminum unibody case and 5-inch 1920 by 1080 pixel Full HD display with a pixel density of 440 pixels per inch (ppi). The handset is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 2 GB of RAM. The One M8 includes 32 GB of internal storage and microSD expansion slot that will support up to 128 GB microSD cards.

The HTC One M8's camera capabilities consist of an UltraPixel rear camera with BSI sensor, dual-LED flash and 5 megapixel front-facing shooter for video chat and selfies. The smartphone ships with a large 2,600 mAh battery and HTC's signature dual-stereo BoomSound speakers with built-in amplifiers.

As always, Amazon is known to change pricing without notice, so if you want a discounted HTC One M8, we suggest you act fast.
