The wait is almost over. Game of Thrones is returning with it's fifth season, and we couldn't be more ready.

But if you only started binge-watching the show recently and need to get up to speed, then The Roots has your back.

The Roots took us down Game of Thrones memory lane, recapping the plot lines and characters on Thursday night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Tariq Trotter broke down everything you need to know of the HBO original series with the gang in a rap recap.

"King Joffrey was dead and gone soon after saying those wedding vows," he starts off the rap. "Daenerys was stressing from learning the lesson without any scholarships. She wishes she could be ruler without dealing with all the politics."

Trotter is able to recap all the seasons, speaking about domesticating dragons and how by season four they enter the danger zone.

"Bow if you are kind of scared. It's about family honor, yeah," he says.

One thing is for sure, there is nothing but drama on Games of Thrones. Season five of the HBO series will premiere on Sunday, April 12, at 9 p.m.
