What do you get when Sesame Street needs to decide who will be the king or queen of Jesteros?

You get this hilarious Game of Thrones parody of musical chairs that teaches kids how to count and makes their parents laugh out loud.

This particular Game of Chairs starts with four players, puppets parodying iconic Game of Thrones characters Joffrey, Cersei, Robb Stark and Daenerys (here known as the "Mommy of Dragons").

The four characters march around three Iron Throne-like chairs while a puppet parodying Tyrion looks on and Grover Bluejoy plays music.

The video shows the game being played until one contestant remains: the winner of the Game of Chairs and the new ruler of Jesteros.

Fortunately, this game isn't as brutal as the one depicted on the HBO series and in the George R.R. Martin A Song of Ice and Fire books. It's obviously a lot less violent fighting over chairs than over kingdoms, after all.

This isn't the first time Sesame Street has parodied more adult entertainment. The series also recently parodied Netflix' House of Cards and Oscar-nominated film Birdman. The series has parodied other pop culture movies and TV shows, too, including Star Wars. Sesame Street has even taken a hilarious look at con culture by hosting its own Numeric Con, which included puppet Doctor Who and Star Trek cosplayers.

Perhaps it's this kind of education meets entertainment brilliance that has kept Sesame Street on TV since 1969 and why the series is now seen in over 150 countries.

Sesame Street airs on PBS in the mornings and afternoons on weekdays.

HBO's Game of Thrones premieres its fifth season on April 12. This season covers events in the two most recent books in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novels, A Feast of Crows and A Dance With Dragons.

Meanwhile, Martin has canceled convention appearances to work on the next novel in the series, Winds of Winter, with fans hoping for a release sometime this year or early next year.

Fans of the books can read a new excerpt from the book on Martin's website.
